Cozumel Building & Construction

I am Francisco Diaz Allen, but I am better known as simply Paco Diaz, the Cozumel architect and builder. I am the owner and President of CozumelBuilders, an architectural design, building and construction supervision company on Cozumel.

In addition to our construction company, we also have a subsidiary called ConstruCozumel which is a division that rents construction and building equipment such as compressors, vibrators, water pumps, compactors, scaffolding, air painters, electric generators, demolition hammers and concrete mixers.

I first began work as an architect and builder on Cozumel in 1983 shortly after completing a degree in Architecture and being licensed by Universidad de Yucatan in Merida. Very shortly thereafter, I incorporated my business, and in the following 27 years my company has been in business on Cozumel I have designed and built well over 700,000 square feet of construction on this beautiful island.

Being President in 2007 through 2009 of the Cozumel Architect Bar and simultaneously Vice-President of the Engineer and Architect Association of Cozumel I had the opportunity to be immersed in the study and analysis of our Municipal building regulations, codes and restrictions.

Since 2009 my son Paco Diaz Jr, graduated also an architect and licensed by Universidad Modelo in Merida, participates actively in our projects with a unique form of expression through photorealism with high technology performance.
